Youngmin Kim Gained Global Visibility In New York’s Times Square

Drawing on 40 years of practical experience as a home healthcare provider in the United States and 11 years of localized operations in Korea, BAYADA Home Health Care has supported patients and caregivers through transitions to daily life and self-management at home. These services have addressed care needs across more than 30 rare and chronic conditions, including autoimmune diseases, spinal muscular atrophy, hemophilia, and multiple sclerosis. These efforts have resulted in an average patient satisfaction score of 4.7 out of 5.

Based on a detailed understanding of changing patient journeys, particularly within metabolic disease care, customized counseling guidelines were developed for different patient segments. Quality management practices were standardized across more than 10 major disease groups, supported by structured qualitative data collection to strengthen care consistency and delivery outcomes.

Youngmin Kim’s leadership contributions have been recognized through the establishment of the Korea Home Health Care Association, membership in the ANA-HCNO Global Standardization Task Force, and strategic partnerships with academic and healthcare industry organizations. These recognitions reflect her role in advancing structured, scalable, and ethically grounded home healthcare services across the region.
