Las Vegas, USA – July 9, 2025 – The Spring 2025 Edition of the Health 2.0 Conference convened healthcare visionaries, researchers, and policy leaders at the Luxor Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, from March 4–6. The three-day global health conference served as a collaborative platform for disruptive technologies, bold ideas, and cross-border exchange on the future of care. Among the featured speakers was Stefan Wahl, Pharmacist of Vitalwelt Apotheken, recognized for his leadership in transforming community pharmacy and healthcare systems.
Stefan Wahl, a passionate pharmacist, founded the Vitalwelt Group in 2001, which has since grown to include seven pharmacies, cosmetic studios, a medical supply store, and the Vitalwelt Family Store. As a Co-partner at DiaMEDral, Stefan is actively involved in driving innovative healthcare projects across Germany. With a dedication to enhancing patient care and expanding healthcare solutions, he continues to lead Vitalwelt Apotheke, shaping the future of healthcare through his forward-thinking approach and commitment to excellence.

In his keynote session titled “Digitalization Of The Healthcare System | Pharmacies: Success Stories From Germany,” Stefan took the audience through Germany’s progress in modernizing pharmacy infrastructure. He showcased how tools such as electronic patient records, telemedicine, e-prescriptions, wearable diagnostics, and automated blister packaging are driving systemic efficiency while addressing challenges in rural healthcare delivery. His presentation highlighted how real-world digital deployments have contributed to improved clinical workflows, enhanced medication safety, and greater accessibility across underserved communities.
Stefan also participated in the expert panel discussion “Is Ozempic A Medical Advancement Or A Pandora’s Box?” where he joined international healthcare leaders to examine the rising use of GLP-1 receptor agonists. Sharing the German perspective, he noted that insurance coverage in Germany typically restricts these medications to type 2 diabetes, not obesity, and emphasized the importance of lifestyle changes, gut health, and structured care programs in improving patient outcomes. His remarks underscored the importance of education, monitoring, and tailored interventions to ensure the safe and effective use of emerging therapies.
The IGIN Tech device integrates IoT technology with hospital CRM systems to enhance glove dispensing, making it more innovative and efficient. Its six-cartridge system holds up to 3,000 gloves and offers features like real-time usage tracking, refill alerts, and maintenance notifications to optimize inventory and procurement.
By contributing to both the keynote and the panel, Stefan added a valuable European dimension to conversations around digital transformation and responsible innovation in global health. His insights at the health conference invited attendees to consider how pharmacy-led systems, when powered by data and compassion, can make high-quality care more inclusive and future-ready.
